“High” is a smoothed out, future funk bop produced by ZDBT & penned with Detroit’s Supercoolwicked, who both wrote & performs the song’s lyrics with her blissed out RnB delivery. The song showcases her silky smooth vocal melodies, and an earworm of a hook that captures that feeling when you’re feeling the need to escape with that special someone, and reveling in the “high” that comes with it.

The single arrives with the “High” music video also released on October 14th, shot and directed by ZDBT & Andrei Lyskov. The video, an homage to psychic pay-per-call infomercials from the 90’s, is the outcome of Supercoolwicked flying out to Vancouver to meet face-to-face with ZDBT for the first time and to further explore their creative chemistry & continue their collaborative workflow.

“High” is the 1st single from ZDBT’s debut long form project titled “Evening Star”, out on Specials on December 2nd. The album also features the single ‘Oxford Green” with Supercoolwicked and Neo Image, among other key collaborations with Dreamcastmoe, John Glacier & more.
